This Spring Try a Forest Fitness Hike!

We did it!  We survived the winter of 2013!  We’re all a bit stronger for it, and I know that we’re not going to waste one minute of this upcoming spring weather that we’ve been waiting so long for!  We deserve to see flowers, and signs of life!  As we head for the outdoors, I can feel those winter blues melting away and I’m ready to explore the fresh spring air and sights and sounds of all things spring.

This weekend, take a deep breath, stretch those legs, and go for a Forest Fitness Hike! Spend your Saturday mornings getting a little exercise and spending time with friendly people just like you, who want to welcome back springtime to Lake County.

Hours and Details Forest Fitness is a program run by the Lake County Forest Preserve that takes place on Saturday mornings from 8 – 9 a.m., at a different preserve every week.  Bring a friend or make a friend!  There’s no registration required and it’s only $1 for residents ($2 for non-residents).
