Today is April Fools Day. No…. seriously. It is. Who doesn’t love a good laugh? And why does it have to stop on April 1st? We don’t think it does. Here are a few ideas to help you carry over the laughter to some other days.

Blues Brothers Revue
James Lumbar Center for the Performing Arts in Grayslake
This live concert combines the comedy and hits from the original movie and pays homage to Chicago’s rich history of blues, gospel and soul music. Hear all the classics, “Soul Man,” “Rubber Biscuit,” “Sweet Home Chicago” and more. Jake, Elwood and the band
hit the right balance of humor, music and mayhem. So let’s not hear any excuses like…. I ran out of gas. I… I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts! This is going to be a night of music and comedy… what’s not to love?
