Yankee Doodle went to Lincolnshire riding on a pony. His adventure in Lincolnshire was, of course, the Red, White and Boom Fest. This annual celebration includes live entertainment, food and beer tent, carnival games and a classic car show on Sunday, while Monday features a pancake feast, 5K, the annual parade, the cardboard regatta, more live music and more fun. The festivities end of course with a fireworks extravaganza.
The festival hosts 100 juried artists from around the country in the Village Green of Lincolnshire and offers extraordinary examples of fine art and fine craft in a variety of mediums and price points. Take in the tranquility of Lincolnshire with a wonderful weekend that combines the fun of art with the art of fun. Live music on the music stage, great food and fun activities for kids, including an art scavenger hunt and spin art, make the festival a perfect family experience. Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see the masters at work with interactive art demos and booth chats taking place all weekend long. Festival-goers of all ages will have an opportunity to get into the “art-filled” action by contributing to a mural on-site at the festival.
The ghastly Boo Bash in Lincolnshire happens the Friday before Halloween. This spooky event includes a costume parade, pumpkin bounce house, a magic show, featuring The Great Boodini, Mad Science Slippery Slime Booth, live music, a haunted trail/house, food trucks and more.
The opportunity to treat yourself Lincolnshire's Food Truck Fridays to something new for lunch from May to September. The foodie frenzy will occur every other Friday until the end of the summer as a variety of delicious aromas waft through the air, while a delectable dish is prepared right in front of your eyes.
