From holiday walks to shopping, trains to plays, there is always something to do in Lake County. Here are some events for this weekend in Lake County.

1.) Chocolate, Champagne and Shopping Friday, November 14, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Enjoy sipping champagne and sampling chocolates while shopping for gourmet kitchen tools, fair trade gifts, candles, jewelry, accessories, confections, imported tableware and many other specialty items. 2.) Waukegan’s ArtWauk Saturday, November 15, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Take a stroll through downtown Waukegan and experience unique art, great food and live entertainment. Make sure to stop by the Dandelion Gallery for the opening of new exhibit “In Beauty She May Walk”. Genesee Street, Waukegan

3.) Antioch's "Chocolate & Champagne" Holiday Walk Saturday, November 15, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Participants will be able to eat, shop & be merry while tasting numerous chocolate delicacies, sipping champagne and listening to strolling musicians throughout Downtown Antioch. The walk includes tastings at each location, a keepsake glass, in-store surprises and drawings and a certificate for a bottle of champagne. Antioch Chamber of Commerce, 882 Main Street, Antioch

4.) Lake County Model Railroad Club Open House Saturday, November 15 & Sunday, November 16, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to the fall open house at the Lake County Model Railroad Club. View 1,800 square feet of a HO scale permanent operating model railroad run by the latest digital technology to operate and simulate railroad activity from the 1950-1970’s. 107 S. 5.) Crimes of the Heart at the James Lumber Center Performances November 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. and November 16 at 2 p.m. This warm-hearted comedy examines the plight of three Mississippi sisters betrayed by their passions.
