"Chicago's Best" Names Bill's Pizza and Pub as Most Famous Pizza

Chicagoland is known for its pizza, so when we heard that the TV Show, “Chicago’s Best” was going to feature Lake County’s very own Bill’s Pizza and Pub (in Mundelein) on a segment about the most famous Chicagoland Pizzas,  we knew that they got it right!

Like countless others who have experienced Bill’s Pizza, I’m a fan.  Pizza in general is perfection and it’s hard to describe the deliciousness of the” Double Decker” that Bill’s Pub cooks up.  I mean really.  Layers of warm doughy bread, tangy and salty tomato sauce seasoned perfectly with the perfect blend of oregano and other Italian wonders…. And then top it off with a blanket of cheese, melted to perfection – with just the right amount of light crispiness around the crust….. (Insert Homer Simpson style “mmmmmmm pizza” here)

I still find it hard to believe that magic isn’t involved at some point or another.
