It’s been one hockey of a season for the Blackhawks! I can’t tell you how many nights I spent glued to my TV, holding my breath until that beautiful moment when the red light flashed and that wonderful horn sound told me that the Hawks had scored another goal.
It reminds me of the time when Libertyville Sports Complex hosted some Hawks favorites to watch a regular season game. This past April 9 was their 3rd year hosting this Blackhawks Roadwatch party, where a bunch of Blackhawks fans get the chance to come together for some food, some drinks and to cheer on our favorite ice hockey team. Here’s some pictures from last year’s Roadwatch party. I’d have to say that the highlight was DEFINITELY Jim Cornelison singing the national anthem! Not to mention Hawks legend, Tony Esposito! Even the Ice Girls stopped by to support the Hawks!
We’re so proud of the Chicago Blackhawks and even though we couldn’t make it to the parade today, we look forward to watching them win it all again next season, and the next Blackhawks Roadwatch party at Libertyville Sports Complex.
