A beloved tradition in Antioch, Wunder-Bar has recently reopened with a new menu Try some traditional German Cuisine at Wunder-Bar in Antioch. While the traditionally German menu features plenty of delicious options lie the sauerkraut soup and different specials every night, be sure to try their potato pancakes that are made with traditional grated potatoes.
Fritzl’s Restaurant and Oktoberfest
Fritzl’s in Lake Zurich serves up authentic German, Austrian and other European Cuisine and has recently been given the Daily Herald 2013 Reader’s Choice Award for best German Restaurant. Showing off their German spirit, they’re throwing a huge Oktoberfest with dinner, drinks and dancing on Oct. 5.
