Kids Eat Free (...or close to it)

Going out to eat with most kids, is an interesting adventure. They’re usually so excited to be out to dinner, that they're too distracted to actually eat! And this is when the barter system starts a little sooner than usual. Everyone knows what I’m talking about. It goes a little something like this: If you eat two more bites, then you can be done. And even those two bites can sometimes be wishful thinking. So why pay full prices for such tiny appetites? Luckily, there are plenty of options at Lake County restaurants that offer either free or close to free meals for your favorite kiddos.

Uno’s Pizza in Gurnee:  Kids eat free Tuesdays.  1 Kids Meal per 1 adult.

Savannah House:  Kids eat free on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, with purchase of an adult meal.

Mickey Finn’s Brewery:  Kids eat free on Tuesday with purchase of adult entrée.

Timothy O’Toole’s: Kids eat free Tuesdays with purchase of adult meal and adult beverage.

Lone Star Steakhouse in Gurnee:  One kids meal for free with purchase of each adult entrée.

RJ’s Eatery:  Kids eat for $2.99 on Thursdays

Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in Fox Lake:  Kids eat free Mondays after 4 p.m. with adult purchase.

Suzy’s Swirls: Kids under 6 are free with adult purchase on Wednesday between 11 a.m.  & 6 p.m.

Rainforest Café in Gurnee Mills Mall:  Wednesdays, 5-9 p.m., Kids 10 & under are $2.99

Golden Corral:  Everyday, Kids 3 and under get the buffet for free with purchase of adult buffet.

Trax Tavern & Grill in Deerfield: Kids eat free Mondays and Tuesdays, with every adult meal of $10 or more from 4pm - 7pm
