Why do we love National Pumpkin Day in Lake County? Is it because of the mini pumpkin explosives that the Green Goblin carries when he’s attacking Spiderman? Is it the Cindarella carriage that changes from a pumpkin to a VIP vessel to the ball?
Or is it all of the pumpkin pie afterwards and the scary faces on the Jack-O-Lanterns? It could be that Starbucks sells pumpkin spice to you at an astronomical rate in October.
Either way National Pumpkin Day (belated) is just in time, and there are a couple places to grab one of these vegetables (or is it a fruit?) in Lake County.
Here are some of the different locations around Lake County you can celebrate National Pumpkin Day – (Plus its almost Halloween, and who doesn’t have a pumpkin during this spooky of days).

I guess this blog should end with a quote about pumpkins, because you all know how much I like quotes.
“When Black Cats Prowl and Pumpkins Gleam, May luck be yours on Halloween.”
Happy belated National Pumpkin Day!
