St. Patrick’s Weekend Celebrations 2014

This year, St. Patrick’s Day is on a Monday so that means a whole weekend of celebrating!  Bring out the whole family to these family friendly events during the day, and head out for some fun with friends during the evening and night time hours.  Here are some of this weekend’s big St. Paddy’s events!

12th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Lindy’s
Bring the kids out to meet Lindy the Leprechaun, and enjoy live Irish Music throughout the weekend.  Dine at an Irish buffet and hear live Bagpipes on Sunday!

Mickey Finn’s St.Patrick’s Day Party
Celebrate 4 days and nights of Irish food, drink specials and entertainment like live Irish music, and the McNulty Irish Dancers on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Timothy O’Toole’s
Nothing goes better with Irish food than green beer!  Celebrate St. Paddy’s day in Gurnee with the Shannon Rovers Pipe Band playing favorite Irish tunes on Saturday and Monday.

4th Annual Barrington Celtic Fest
Join with local businesses throughout Downtown Barrington and enjoy delicious food, green beer, and live music like 16 Candles (Friday night) and American English (on Saturday night) all in a large party tent.

Village of Lake Villa St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Luncheon
Saturday, March 15, Noon sharp!  After seeing all of your friends and neighbors in this annual parade, head to the Lake Villa VFW Hall (130 E. Grand Ave) for a Corn Beef & Cabbage dinner.

Luck O’ the Irish at Dockers North
Swing by Dockers Saturday – Monday for some lake side celebrations including traditional corned beef and cabbage and green draft beer on tap.

Pug Mahones in Fox Lake
Looking for a party atmosphere?  Pub Mahones in Fox Lake has drink specials and DJs from Friday-Monday.

Birdie McKenna
Hear live Irish music and throughout the weekend and top it all off with a Bagpiper and the Tully Irish Dancers on Monday.
