The festival will include live music throughout the day and the annual grape stomp competition. Live entertainment from The Mother Corn Shuckers and Cuesta Ridge. Market Place vendors and food available all day. Come out for a grape stompin’, knee slappin’, sausage chompin’ good time. Grape stompers are $10 each and prizes will be awarded. There will also be a all-you-can eat sausage BBQ for $10.

Based on the 1964 film and 1954 Richard Matheson novel, The Last Man On Earth tells the creepy tale of Dr. Robert Morgan living in a world left destitute by a plague. The creatures that roam the streets are nothing like their human selves and in order to survive he must protect himself at all costs. During the day, he hunts them and scavenges for food. But during the night, he locks himself inside his home where there are just as many demons inside as there are outside.
Come for a very special behind-the-scenes look at The Tempel Lipizzans program. Our tour will take you through the stables to learn all about the history of the Lipizzan, classical riding, and our farm. We finish in the arena with a daily training session and questions with the trainers.
All Chicagoland residents and resort guests are invited to attend the hands-on cooking class, where Chef Pierre Daval will educate attendees on fall produce, best preparation and cooking practices. This fall’s cooking class will feature a honey vinaigrette-topped roasted beet salad with calypso cheddar and crispy kale, as well as a pan-seared Wisconsin Trout with celery root puree, maple beurre blanc, and glazed carrots. Students will get the opportunity to work with beets and carrots from the resort’s farm, and experience a unique viewing of the resort’s on-site bee hives.
