The Lake County Summer Concerts lineup will blow your mind.

Every year some of the top musicians in popular, rock, rap, country, jazz and more make a stop in Lake County. The land of 75 lakes also has summer festivals with plenty of live entertainment, and you can see many of their music lineups by continuing here.

I mean with venues like Ravinia, Genesee Theatre, Austin’s, Mickey Finn’s and so many other spots to catch a live show, it’s the normal to get the best of the best in Lake County.

going on throughout this extended weekend. These patriotic fests will also be coming equipped with rockin’ guitars, booming beats and iron voices gracing the stage.

This list of concerts doesn’t just break legs, it fractures spines! Sure that may be a bit over the top. But see for yourself as we take a look at the schedule for Lake County Summer Concerts.

July

Sister Hazel at Blarney Island July 1; 7 pm

Platinum-selling group, Sister Hazel, will be performing at Blarney Island kicking off the big holiday weekend. The show will debut some of the brand-new Sister Hazel songs like “Kiss Me Without Whiskey”as well as popular fan favorites like “All For You.” Doors open at 4pm and tickets start at $20 for ages 21 and up. VIP options are also available. Tickets are required.

Chick Corea Trio, Ms. Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton at Ravinia July 4; 5 pm

Pianist Chick Corea ranks among a top few in his mastery of jazz dialects, but many among the modern masses speak with his accent. Along with Ms. Lisa Fischer, Grand Baton and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra this should be a great night of Jazz music.

Neil Finn of Crowded House and Guster at Ravinia July 7; 6:30 pm

Neil Finn has consistently proven his knack for crafting high-quality songs that combine irresistible melodies with meticulous lyrical detail, from his beginnings as the precocious junior member of Split Enz, through his leadership of Crowded House, and, finally, in his distinguished solo career. Neil along with Guster will be great night of music to enjoy.

Duran Duran With Chic at Ravinia July 7-8; Fri 7 pm, Sat, 6 pm

Duran Duran is on the road in support of their 14th studio album, Paper Gods. Focusing on the new album and performing some of the favorites should make this a concert not to be missed.

Phillip Phillips & Matt Nathanson at Ravinia July 10; 6:30 pm

American Idol season-eleven winner Phillip Phillips, is bringing the music from his platinum selling debut album The World from the Side of the Moon to the Ravinia. This Georgia native wows with his songwriting chops, guitar skills, and rich vocals. Along with Matt Nathanson this will a great show.

Chicago Symphony Orchestra Perform With the Film The Planets–An HD Odyssey July 13; 8 pm

On a space-themed program, Ravinia presents the Chicago premiere of a new HD experience, the new film from NASA that presents jaw-dropping images from its most recent missions that look like they're straight out of science fiction with the music of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Film shown on Pavilion and lawn video screens.

Six Speed Tranny at Mickey Finns July 16

Six Speed Tranny is a high energy power trio from Lake County, IL that covers some of the best songs written in the past 50 years, however specializing in the classics! Songs ranging from The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rush, Pink Floyd to Motley Crue, Tom Petty, Foo Fighters, Bush, Lit, and everything in between, songs that appeal to everyone!

Jazz Concert at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum Jazz Concert at the Grayslake Heritage Center & MuseumJuly 20; 7 pm

The Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum is proud to host our first Jazz concert of the summer. On Wednesday July 20 at 7 p.m. the student Grayslake Jazz Combo Workshop will perform classic and modern jazz standards in the museum’s courtyard. Facebook

Sounds of Summer Featuring Bella Cain @ Viking Bandshell July 21; 7-8:30 pm

Bella Cain is a hot new Top 40 country group that throws in other styles of music as well into our shows! We bring 4-5 part harmonies, Piano, Steel Guitar, Fiddle, Female and Male vocals, a  big guitar sound, and an explosive stage presence to every performance. Don't miss this great concert.

Kenny Rogers’ Final World Tour: The Gambler’s Last Deal at Ravinia July 24; 8 pm

Grammy Award–winning superstar and Country Music Hall of Famer Kenny Rogers takes the festival’s stage as part of his final world tour, “The Gambler’s Last Deal,” with special guests The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Linda Davis. Having been a performer for nearly six decades, Rogers has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, making him one of the top 10 best-selling male solo artists of all time.

Diana Ross at Ravinia July 27; 8:30 pm

As a solo artist, Diana Ross is one of the most successful female singers of the rock era. If you factor in her work as the lead singer of the Supremes in the 1960s, she may be the most successful. Come out for Diva supreme while she makes her Ravinia debut.

It's Thursday Concert Featuring ABBA Salute July 28; 7:30 pm

After visiting the farmers market come over to the William E. Brook Memorial Entertainment Center and enjoy the music of ABBA with ABBA Salute. Then revisit every Thursday evening through August 11th for a different performance.

Chicago Symphony Orchestra Presents Titanic Live July 29-30; 7 pm

Complete film shown on Pavilion and lawn videos screens. Nothing compares to reliving a favorite movie in the company of thousands of like-minded fans who laugh and cry and thump their hearts en masse in all the right places. Ravinia will embark on this first-class experience by presenting for the first time in the Midwest the complete film Titanic accompanied by an orchestra performing its score live. Shown for 2 nights.

Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy at Ravinia July 31; 7 pm

Local legend Buddy Guy returns with Jeff Beck in his Ravinia debut. Together they will put on a great show. Tickets for seats are $100 -$130 and $44 in advance and $49 the day of the concert for lawn

Dolly Parton at Ravinia August 7; 7:30 pm

Come out for a great night of music with Country Star Dolly Parton. Parton is the most honored female country performer of all time. Achieving 25 RIAA certified gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards, she has had 25 songs reach No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts, a record for a female artist. She has 41 career top 10 country albums, a record for any artist, and she has 110 career charted singles over the past 40 years.

War & Los Lonely Boys at Ravinia August 11; 7 pm

One of the most popular funk groups of the '70s, War were also one of the most eclectic, freely melding soul, Latin, jazz, blues, reggae, and rock influences into an effortlessly funky whole. Along with Los Lonely Boys this is sure to be a great night of music.

Tony Bennett at Ravinia August 13; 8:30 pm

Tony Bennett has released over 70 albums and has received 16 Grammys for his music. This music icon will put on a show that will not be forgotten. This concert will be featuring Tony's 90th Birthday celebration. Reserved seat tickets are $91-$101 and lawn seats are $34 in advance and $39 the day of performance.

Train at Ravinia August 26-27; 7 pm

For two nights Train and special guest Andy Grammer will be rocking the Ravinia stage. Train known for songs Hey Soul Sister, Marry Me, Drive By, Drops of Jupitor and many more will be sure to put on a great show. Andy Grammer, known for Honey, I'm Good will also be performing his hits.

Seal at Ravinia August 28; 7 pm

Seal is a British soul and R&B singer-songwriter, and has won numerous music awards throughout his career, including three Brit Awards' winning Best British Male in 1992, four Grammy Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award. Seal is known for his numerous international hits; the best known being "Kiss from a Rose", which appeared in the soundtrack to the 1995 film Batman Forever. He has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. Reserved seats are $95-$130 and lawn seats are $38 in advance and $43 the day of performance.

Bring the friends out for a great night of music with Bonnie Raitt at Ravinia. Her songs and albums incorporate elements of blues, rock, folk and country. This is her Dig in Deep Tour and should be a concert not to be missed.

O.A.R. at Ravinia September 4; 7 pm

O.A.R. is renowned for its intense, vibrant live show, including selling out Madison Square Garden twice and the communal feeling it shares with its fans. With each studio album, the band has endeavored to achieve that sense of immediacy. Bring the friends out for this great concert at Ravinia.

The Little River Band at the Genesee September 15; 7:30 pm

The Little River Band is stronger than ever with a rock/country crossover sound and the unmistakable feeling of a band really enjoying itself. Join them at the Genesee with special guests Ambrosia.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers at the Genesee Theatre September 16; 7:30 pm

The most 'bad to the bone' performance in rock George Thorogood & the Destroyers are badder then ever. They will be playing a catalog of classics that include Who Do You Love, Bad to the Bone, I Drink Alone, Move it on Over and more.
