Things to do this Weekend April 17-19

The way the weather has been in the last week, shows us that Spring now is in full swing. From the frequent rainfall, to the warm days, Lake County’s spring has so much for you and the family to experience.

With Earth Day approaching next week, there are many outdoor activities to discover. So go in the bottom portion of your drawers, blow the dust off and iron those shorts out and get outside next weekend!

ArtWauk2.)    It’s the third Saturday of the month, so you know it’s a party in Waukegan! Discover what Lake County artists have applied to the canvas at the monthly ArtWauk celebration. Don’t let the majestic art steal the entire show, because there are downtown Waukegan restaurants to get a bit as well as live entertainment!

3.)    As the April days grow warmer and Earth Day approaching, why not make it a family affair at Ryerson Woods?  Free of admission and registration at the Riverwoods’ forest preserve’s grounds, you and the kids can journey out in the wild and banter with some critters at the Meet and Greet Education Animals. Fell the furs, feathers and scales of local wildlife on their touch table.

4.)    Experience the swinging 1960s in a flat in PM&L Theatre Presents Boeing - BoeingParis with three attractive stewardess (that are unaware of each other) and bachelor Bernard at Boeing-Boeing showing at the PM&L Theatre in Antioch. For two weeks you’ll learn of the turbulence experienced when Bernard’s life transitions to a bumpy voyage when his buddy Robert comes to visits and the three stewardesses visit on the same day.
