Everyone’s favorite lacrosse/basketball/bumper car fusion game returns as the Vernon Hills facility reopened its doors this week. The all-ages venue also features laser tag and billiards. The play place also has a little something for adults. Besides delectable eats, WhirlyBall has a vast selection of brews while the youngsters duke it out (or you join in on the fun). This installment of Vigneto del Bino’s wine dinner pairing is a Mexican cuisine theme. The four-course meal includes appetizers, a salad, an entrée and dessert. There are two dinner seatings. Reservations and masks are required. Be sure to take home a bottle of the May 2020 Lake County Libation Trail Libation of the Month Vino Colada. The event is also highlighted by a live performance by the rock, pop and country musical talent, the Judson Brown Band from 6-9 p.m. Lehmann Park encourages picnickers to socially distance and wear a facemask. No dogs and coolers are allowed in the park, and foodies are directed to park at the Metra Station lot.
