4. Tempel Lipizzan's Performance

If you hear an emphatic neigh in the distance, it is coming from the lips of the majestic Tempel Lipizzans in Old Mill Creek. Witness their opening season performance as these trusty steeds progress through the flying horse movements and a four-horse ballet. After the show, attendees will learn about Lipizzan history, the methods of classical riding and receive a tour of the stables.

Rehearsals are underway for our next production: She Loves Me! Come experience this musical comedy gem about finding love in the most unexpected places. Performances begin April 26th. #SheLovesMe #RomanticComedy #MusicalTheatre #Chicago #ChicagoTheatre

5. "She Loves Me" at Marriott Theatre

It's curtains for “She Loves Me,” at Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire this weekend. This comedy-musical gem based on the book by Joe Masteroff is set in the 1930s in a Hungarian parfumerie. The store clerks Amalia and Georg don’t see eye-to-eye at work but get jazzed up as they unknowingly write love letters to each other after responding to a lonely hearts advertisement. The original stage play won a Tony Award in 1964 for Jack Cassidy’s portrayal of Steven Kodaly. Just picture the drama that may occur on a reality show between employees with text messages (instead of love letters) and Tinder at a modern-day Sephora.

Friday-Sunday, June 16-18. Ticket Price: $52. Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Dr., Lincolnshire.
