Kris Kringle and his assistants are back again for Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops in Gurnee Mills. The jolly man in red will be available for photos with children who have a Bass Pass throughout the day. Other activities for attendees include free crafts, a Lincoln Logs building area, remote control trucks, write letters to Santa and much more. Shop, Save, Santa; the trifecta.

The cherished holiday story ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ arrives in Libertyville this weekend. As a spin on the classic narrative, this show will be a live-staged radio performance by the Improv Playhouse Radio Players. Attendees will witness how live radio was performed in the good old days. Make and relive memories in an entirely new way.

The popular R&B/Pop quartet 98° known for their singles ‘The Hardest Thing’, ‘I Do’ and many more, will rock the Genesee Theatre’s stage in Waukegan this Saturday. This show features the band’s unforgettable grooves, romantic ballads and songs from their platinum album ‘This Christmas’ and other hits from their library. We think this would make for a great holiday gift, especially for that one boy-band friend of yours.

Known as one of Mundelein’s most cherished events, Santa’s Cottage returns this Saturday outside of the Village Hall. Hosted by the Mundelein Community Connection, a visit to Santa’s Cottage is a memorable experience year in and year out. Mr. and Mrs. Claus welcomes children and their families into their quaint, holiday-themed cottage and more.

Downtown Grayslake will host its final Farmers Market of the year this Saturday. Goodies such as seasonal produce, baked goods, wine and cheeses, spices, organic selections and ready-to-eat-food will line the Main Street.
