Lake County is such a beautiful place any time of year. With over 30,000 lush forest preserves you can also find the perfect spot to snap a gorgeous photo. Our 2013 photo contest is still going on and ends at the end of the year. As the Visit Lake County Marketing Manager, I get the honor of seeing the submissions before the contest is over and all I have to say is WOW! There have been some great photos submitted this year. If you have a knack for taking pictures, than this contest is for you. You don't have a to be a pro but the only requirement is that the photos was taken somewhere in Lake County, Illinois.
