Invest your fest feels on a festive festival-infested Friday through Sunday in Libertyville. The Adler Arts Center has showcased some of the most exceptional work from artists nationwide. A ton of talented individuals will have their work on display. This event hosted by the 100+-year-old facility will also feature a youth art division to celebrate children's talent. Besides the unique artwork on display, attendees will experience live music, divine fare, and more at the Libertyville festival in Cook Park. Who would've thought an elephant and an oinker would be best buddies. Head to Marriott Theatre for "Elephant & Piggie's 'We Are in a Play!'" originally from award-winning, best-selling children's author Mo Willems. Gerald the Elephant and Piggie the Pig are the closest of pals. However, Gerald has this sinking feeling something could ruin their friendship. Then, enter the three singing squirrels. Anything is possible when "the Squirrelles" get into the mix. This kiddie play is the perfect introduction to musical theatre for the whippersnappers. Stick around for the Q&A session following the production. The Lincolnshire show runs on select days through Sunday, August 13.
