Enjoy Illinois Chicago Bears Training Camp Fan Experience at Halas Hall 2022

“Bear down, Chicago Bears! Make every play clear the way to victory.”

Visit Lake County is an official Enjoy Illinois Chicago Bears Training Camp partner.

For the second consecutive year, the Chicago Bears Training Camp is open to the public right here in Lake County at the Halas Hall in Lake Forest.

Visitors of the camp will park at Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills and be shuttled to and from Halas Hall. Midway diehard fans are encouraged to peruse the Lake County mall to partake in all the delicious dining options, shopping, lavish accommodations and more. Continue here to look at the guide.

After going through the security checkpoint, visitors will enter the area full of interactive games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Stop by the Visit Lake County tent to enter your child for the chance to win the Player Pad Experience.

The concourse is full of several activities and interactive games to keep future fans of the Monsters of the Midway enthusiastic and engaged throughout their visit. On-site there is an official Chicago Bears Pro Shop where you can pick up your favorite player’s jersey and select other gameday gear.

Maybe challenging your endurance is something that you have been looking forward to. Test your strength and conditioning as BEARS Fit is onsite once again this year with their training ropes.

Halas Hall has been a fixture in Lake Forest since 1979. The complex was named after long-time owner and coach of the Bears, George Halas, and was located on Lake Forest College’s south campus. Since 1997, the Bears have called this new location by the I-94 Tri-State home.

They also have an indoor field space named after the late Hall of Fame tailback Water Payton Center on the grounds. During Enjoy Illinois Chicago Bears Training Camp, this state-of-the-art facility showcases simulated NFL training exercises geared toward the younger Bears fans. Little monsters can catch a pass from 30 yards out, attempt a field goal, go through numerous drills and more.

Youngsters can also delight in face painting, diving for the football, cornhole, Bears Connect Four photo ops and dance-offs with Staley, the Chicago Bears mascot.

The Lake Forest facility also offers a wide range of delectable eats from food trucks including Tropical Shaved Kona Ice, Empanadas and El Rey del Barrio.

The Bears will be wearing a new alternate orange helmet for two games during the 2022 season. They will debut the helmet for a Thursday Night Football game versus the Washington Commanders in Week Six and don the helmet again on the day before Halloween when they take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week Eight. The helmet is one display at during the Enjoy Illinois Chicago Bears Training Camp.

New Chicago Bears General Manager Ryan Poles along with new head coach Matt Eberflus are looking to make an impact this season in the “Black and Blue Division” building around second-year quarterback Justin Fields. Fields will be looking to get the ball into the hands of running back David Montgomery and wide receiver Darnell Mooney.

Tickets are sold out for the remainder of the Halas Hall event, so mark your calendars for early July 2023 so you can get your tickets early for 2023’s edition of Chicago Bears Training Camp at Halas Hall.
