A Comprehensive Guide To Sledding and Tubing in Lake County

By: Jonathan Jones 01/03/2022

You can’t be the only one having a blast in the snow. Once the snow hits the ground, kids (and children at heart) gravitate towards any hill that has a slight incline to race their friends and family. It’s that time of year to inflate that inner tube or dust off that sled and zip through the snow. Never forget to "Feel the Rhythm! Feel the Rhyme! Get on up, it's bobsled time! Cool Runnings!" Here is a comprehensive guide to sledding and tubing in Lake County.

1/22/2019. Lets Skate. ...(Or rather Snow Skate). I took the kid sledding for her first time today. Two short runs and one medium hill (scroll to side for short video). After maybe 10 minutes and she said “I’m cold. Let’s go inside and get some hot chocolate”. I can’t argue with her logic. It was sleeting and a severe weather advisory... whatever. #sledding #sleddingfun #snowskate #sled #wintersled #winter2019 #letsskate #letsskatekids #letsskategirls #stforlife #suicidaltendencies #misfits #themisfits #gorillabiscuits #deadkennedys #circlejerks #thecramps #tenaciousd #fortrus #ramones #exploited #theadicts #premiersnowskate #danzig #suicidalskates #thrasher #fugazi #motorhead #ween #blacklabelsociety

Used to spend a lot of time at Harts Hill when I was a kid - football in the fall and sledding in the winter. We only went down once but it’s mostly because the girls made me pull them all the way up the hill in the sled. They were more interested in eating snow anyway. #lovelyloisk #sweetzoeye
