The Chicago Botanic Garden's Orchid Show runs Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. through March 16. Like always, admission to the gardens is free, but admission to the Orchid show is $10 Adult & $8 for Seniors and Children.
During the weekends of Feb. 14-16 & 21-23, learn about Hawaiian culture and the role these beautiful flowers and other plant life continue to play in ancient traditions.
Learn how different patterns carved into bamboo create a visual representation of families, villages and folklore through the art of stamping. (Left)

The Orchid display really shows off the best sides of the Hawaiian Islands. But the beautiful live island music and traditional hula dancing certainly didn't hurt either!
