Fall in love with your favorite season all over again during the Vernon Hills Summer Celebration 2019. Have a bite to eat, take a ride on a carnival ride and enjoy an abundance of live entertainment from the celebration's headliner Bodeans. The Wisconsin-native band released singles that made it in the top 40 mainstream rock charts as well as the top 10 in the adult contemporary charts. Their most famous song “Closer to Free” is the theme song to 1990s sitcom “Party of Five.” Other talented acts performing at the Vernon Hills fest include the Trippin' Billies, Mellencougar, Radio Heroes, the Pelvis Brothers and other great musicians. The “Summer Cel” also is highlighted by fireworks, karaoke, a car and bike show, delectable drinks, divine bites and the annual bags tournament.

Friday-Sunday, July 19-21. Entry is free. Multiple price points for other events. Century Park, 1001 Lakeview Pkwy., Vernon Hills.
