Things to do this Weekend June 5-7

By: Jonathan Jones 06/02/2015

It’s the beginning of June and you know what that means? Summer is upon us. June 21 is the first day of summer. Not only that, but so is Father’s Day. Don’t forget about dear old dad.

Many great events happen this week. For example, the NHL and NBA Finals begin, and our Blackhawks were able to silence the quacks!

There are plenty of bars and restaurants around Lake County that will be playing Game two of the Blackhawks.

Speaking of sports the Chicago Cubs and White Sox have an exhibit that is a must see at Grayslake Museum. Back to the Future pt. 2 predicts the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series (which was filmed in supposedly 2015 with hover boards and Nike shoes with power laces). Well you can get a glimpse of the time traveling Delorean at the Volo Auto Museum. One lucky individual could drive that legendary car home by the Cubs actually lifting the curse and entering into their raffle. (continue here for more details).

Here’s what’s going on this weekend in this installment of things to do this weekend June 5-7.
