1. Tucker Beathard Performs at Genesee Street Cabaret

Calling all Lake County country fans that desire a bit more edge. Head to the Genesee Street Cabaret to hear Tucker Beathard’s homegrown alternative-country inspired sound. Get ready to “Rock On” to famous tunes of this Nashville native, get on your feet and interact with this renowned country star’s unique performance. “You Would Think” his distinctive talent is all his own, but Beathard comes from a musically-gifted family. Beathard’s father, Casey, is also an award-winning songwriter. After this impressive show, you’re ensured to be one of Tucker Beathard’s most “Faithful” fans. Tickets for the show include free parking and tableside bar service. Social distancing protocols will be in place.

2. Public Tour: How A Lipizzan Stallion Learns To Dance

Experience the Tempel Lipizzans for their Stallion Public Tour this weekend. Leave suburbia for a few hours, escaping to a serene country setting. Gaze at the stallions and their trainers while they go through the process of “dressage” training. This rare opportunity will leave you in awe as each beginner, intermediate and advanced trained horse gallops and dances past you, displaying each move they’ve been training to perform for several years. Not only will you have a meet and greet in their dwellings, VIP visitors can also take a trip to the Old Mill Creek breeding stables to say “hello” to their mares and foals.  As you sit ringside in their arena, social distancing and mask mandates will be in place.

3. Supper Club at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort

5. Make Your Own Spring Flowers and Shamrocks at Peter Patterson Glassworks

Don your green threads and start preparing your corn beef hash because St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Visit Peter Patterson Glassworks in Mundelein for their create a glass flower or shamrock open house. Learn the different glass blowing techniques at this flowering art class and take home a shamrock charm or a beautiful spring glass flower at the color of your choosing.
