Discover delectable dishes from nearly 60 restaurants across Lake County for 10 Days to Savor. Lake County Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to explore new places to dine or enjoy old favorites. Each participating restaurant will be offering either a prix fixe menu or a special offer for patrons to choose from. To learn more about participating restaurants and menus, visit

Suds aficionados will want to visit Vernon Hills this Saturday for the fifth annual Craft Beer Tasting Festival. The Sullivan Community Center event features over 40 unique brew flavors to sample from many local breweries including Mickey Finn’s in Libertyville, Buffalo Creek Brewing Co in Long Grove and many more. This lively Lake County libation event is complemented by the live sounds of fusion rock band Sneezy.
Saturday, Mar. 3; 5-9 p.m. Admission $30. Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Dr., Vernon Hills.
The Lake County Fairgrounds and Event Center hosts the Northern Illinois Boat Show. The Grayslake event features will display over 200 new and used vessels for sale from over 50 brands and more than 30 exhibitors will feature large selections of boat trailers, parts and accessories. The largest boat show in the area is highlighted by the latest models in pontoon, family runabouts, ski boats, jet boats, fishing boats, bayliners, alumacrafts, sea ray boats and an array of other watercrafts.

Libertyville’s popular First Fridays event makes its triumphant return for 2018. Dine, shop and walk downtown Libertyville to find deals and specials from many participating locations. The event features live music while attendees can peruse a slew of mom and pop shops.
Friday, Mar. 2; 6-9 p.m. Free admission. Downtown Libertyville.
Take a road trip throughout all of Lake County and southern Wisconsin for the Fifth Annual Vintage Shop Hop. The Norton’s USA hosted event invites shoppers to browse in 480 participating vintage shops, boutiques, barn sales, oddity malls and home décor stores. Attendees at the Lake County shopping spree will receive discounts, enter giveaways and raffles, witness demos and more through the self-guided tour for antique lovers.
