Participating establishments, known as Pelican Partners, will be offering a variety of special offers and feature the Aves-themed scavenger hunt. A visitor can use clues to find 10 out of the 16 Pelican Partners for a chance to win a $25 gift card, as the search runs through Monday, April 18. The event also features themed events hosted by the Fox Lake District Library, Lake County Forest Preserve educators and more. The Lake County village shopping event also hosts its Pelican Palooza photo contest. Submissions will be posted to the Village of Fox Lake Parks and Recreation Facebook page, and will be on display at the area’s library following the event’s duration.
