Kansas / Brian Setzer Orchestra at the Genesee Theatre

Might as well pitch a tent ⛺ outside of the Genesee Theatre because this weekend offers two shows you can't miss on back-to-back nights.  Your favorite hit songs will be played live this weekend as Kansas and the Brian Setzer Orchestra take the Genesee Theatre’s stage. Kansas, performing Friday evening, is a three-time multi-platinum album band known for songs like “Dust in the Wind” and “Carry on Wayward Son.” Saturday’s featured performers at the Genesee, Brian Setzer Orchestra, are best known for their cover of Louis Prima’s “Jump Jive an’ Wail.” Back-to-back nights of nostalgic rock and swing make the Waukegan theatre the place to be this weekend.

Friday-Saturday, Nov. 10-11; 8 p.m. Various admissions. Genesee Theatre, 203 N. Genesee St., Waukegan.
