Things to do this weekend January 16-19

Although it is still quite early in the winter season, Lake County is ready for some warm temperatures. After yet another polar vortex, the weather seems to be back to where it should be. This weekend’s lineup has plenty for the kids after their first full week back to school and for the  adults.

We all are looking forward to an extended weekend with Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Besides the plethora of events in store for Lake County, our friends from Boating Lake County and many of our area’s boating establishments will be exhibitors at the 2015 Chicago Chicago Boat, RV & Strictly Sail Show at Chicago’s McCormick Place January 14th-18th. If you sign up for Boating Lake County’s e-newsletter, you are entered to win four free tickets to the five-day convention.

Treat yourself to what Lake County has planned for you in this installment of the guide to the weekend.
