Eight of Lake County's Libation Trail participants have crafted special menus for this 10-day dining extravaganza that combines delectable bites and quality craft beverages.

Food and beverage pairings have become a culinary staple that foodies from all over seek out the most unique combinations. Whether it's wine and cheese, beer and burgers or cookies and cocktails, the possibilities are endless. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all delicious.

?Oh what a Saturday night!! We headed to Highwood and were completely wow’d by the new @28miledistilling. The glass exterior and tented outdoor space with dueling pianos had us impressed before we even walked through the doors. There is so much history behind this distillery and meaning to why it was built in Highwood. Owner Eric hosts tours and tastings which gave us a glimpse back into why Highwood was and still is the North Shore’s hotspot. The cocktails are not to be missed along with a fun dinner menu and weekend brunch with housemade roasted tomato bloody Mary’s from 2-5pm. We already can’t wait to go back!

I would like to start by giving a big thank you to the amazing staff at @lynfredwinery I had the privilege of experiencing a beautiful and delicious VIP tasting in their Members Only Founders Lounge. I have been visiting @lynfredwinery for years now because i truly enjoy their wines, so when this invite came about i was extremely happy. Every time i go i’m reminded why i love it so much. Something that stood out to me was the attention to detail throughout this venue, for instance the staircase leading up to the Founders Room is just WOW❤️so stunning all of that wood work. Once you’re up there the vibe is very relaxed and inviting. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful and very knowledgeable. If you haven’t paid them a visit make sure to do so. They offer daily wine tastings from 10-6:15pm at the Roselle location, no reservations needed and it’s only $11 for non members. They have multiple locations you can visit make sure to check their site. Perfect Date Night or Ladies Night.
