It might be getting a little colder outside, but we have plenty to keep our "spirits" warm.  It's time to celebrate expertly crafted wines, and of course... enchanting spirits.  Maybe there's something in the brisk air this time of year, but it seems like everyone had similar ideas.  So if you're looking for something to do this November, try out one of these events, which are sure to keep you feeling cozy.

Lovells Fall Wine Tasting Friday, November 7, 6:30pm-9:30pm The weather getting colder and the Big Red Wines are coming out to keep us smiling until the warm spring returns. All of my great vendors will be here too help you choose from some of the favorites and a lot of new wines to pick from. This is a One Day Sales Event with wines price below retail to move. So let us help fill the wine racks for the Holiday Season and the New Year. There will be 80 plus wines from around the world along with hors d'oeuvres.

Chocolate, Champagne and Shopping at Lake County Forest Preserve General Offices in Libertyville Friday, Nov. 14, 4:30 - 9 p.m. Preview the future home of the Lake County Discovery Museum, sip champagne and enjoy chocolates while shopping for gourmet kitchen tools, fair trade gifts, candles, jewelry, accessories, confections, imported tableware and many other specialty items. "Chocolate & Champage" Holiday Walk in Antioch Saturday Nov. 15, 1- 4 p.m. Participants will be able to Eat, Shop & Be Merry during a "Chocolate & Champagne" Walk. Enjoy numerous chocolate delicacies while sipping champagne throughout Downtown Antioch participating businesses. The walk includes tastings at each location, a keepsake glass, in-store surprises and drawings, a certificate for a bottle of champagne, plus there will be 4 Winners of Antioch Chamber Gift Certificates. Also enjoy strolling musicians and carolers along the way. Exploring Vodka at the North Shore Distillery Saturday Nov. 15, 5 - 9 p.m. Seeing as North Shore Vodka was one of our first two products, we will celebrate all things vodka with an exclusive, all-vodka cocktail menu. In addition, we’ll share a range of experimental vodkas we have made and explore how our vodka has evolved over the years. Barrington's Holiday Wine Walk Saturday, November 22, 2 - 6 p.m. Come and kick off the holidays at the Holiday Wine Walk. Take a stroll through the Village of Barrington and enjoy shopping, sipping and strolling. Merchants throughout the village will be offering wine samples and great sales. Plan to spend the day walking around town, tasting good wine, socializing with friends, finding that unique one of a kind gift, and then settling in for a wonderful dinner on one of the fine dining establishments in Barrington. Holiday Cocktail Class at North Shore Distillery Sunday, November 23, 4 - 5:30 p.m. Sign up today for this special holiday theme cocktail class. Participants will be guided through making three cocktails and then get to create one! Class is $25 and includes snacks. Grab a friend or two and get signed up!
